Hi is this just faulty??
period is 3 days late and been having light spotting

I would do another one. Hold your wee for 4 hours to allow hormone to build up if you don’t want to wait until first wee of the morning. I’d suggest to pee into a jug and dip it rather than peeing directly onto stick.

Just get another test, maybe a better one, and do it tomorrow morning with fmu 🤗

It looks like a faint positive where the dye from the line has seeped upwards. Agree though it's inconclusive and you should test again tomorrow.
