Smallest electric shock? from turning on light switch

Hey guys, I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant and I just got up to pee and turned on the bathroom light switch and I felt the shortest electric current in my fingertip. It was for a second if that! So super short, and it wasn’t at all strong. I can’t help but worry though as this is the furthest I’ve ever been in a pregnancy after recurrent miscarriage. Am I being silly? I feel completely fine, the current probably didn’t even last a whole second and it wasn’t strong, there’s no numbness or anything. Should I contact my midwife or GP tomorrow or leave it if I’m feeling fine? I have a Doppler at home too that has been pretty reassuring although I don’t use it too often. Any advice? I’m sorry if this is really silly!

Please don't worry. This won't have harmed your baby in any way.

If you are still worried in the morning have a chat with your midwife.

Most importantly, get an electrician to check that light switch and don't touch it again until it's been checked.

Thank you so much. I’m not really worried at all because I feel absolutely fine, and I’m definitely gonna get it checked. 😊

You'll be okay. I zapped myself on an electric fence at 23w and me and DS were both fine

"Thank you so much. I’m not really worried at all"

Confused as to what the purpose of the post is as you wanted advice to help your worry...
