Is this a miscarriage?

Hi so I am 6 weeks pregnant but 2 days ago started having a brown discharge. It wasn't a lot, not enough to change a pant liner but could be seen when wiped. This has lasted for 2 days but today has turned to red. Its still a small amount again not had to change a pant liner but is more when wiped. I have also had slight cramps. This is my third pregnancy and didn't have anything like this before. It's a bank holiday so won't be able to phone the gp till Tuesday. Feel like I'm going crazy not knowing.
Am I miscarrying this pregnancy?

Unfortunately until you get checked there really is no way of knowing. I’ve had bleeding throughout this pregnancy and all has been ok, but it could also be the beginning of a miscarriage.

Do you have an early pregnancy unit you can contact? That’s likely where the GP will refer you to. At 6 weeks though they still might not be able to give you any proper answers - sometimes a heartbeat can be seen that early but sometimes it can’t and it’s just a waiting game again. You could also see if you can get a private scan if you can’t wait in the meantime. Good luck and I hope you get a positive outcome x
