Pregnancy possibility??

I have a regular period around 28 days and am currently not on any birth control. I had my last period on 27th April and it lasted 5 days.

I thought to start the Desogestrel pill (progesterone only pill) again so I took the first pill on the 27th first day of period.

I've been told if you start the pill on the first day of your period you're immediately protected.

I had unprotected sex 4 days later still being on my period and my hubby finished in me. (I thought it would be fine as I track my ovulation)

I took the pill for around 9-10 days and immediately stopped as it was giving me severe migranes and I couldn't continue.

I did have a withdrawal bleed for 1-2 days. Mostly spotting and a small amount of blood.

It's now end of May and almost June and I'm worried I could be pregnant.

I haven't taken a test yet but wanted a second opinion.

Did you have sex after stopping the pill?

I'm not sure why you don't just take a test? 🤔🤔

What second opinion can we give?

if you don’t take your contraception properly and have sex, yes, you may be pregnant.

Hi all the reason I asked was I'm away from my house at the moment and haven't brought a test yet. Just wanted to know if anyone else has been through the same thing.

You need to take the pill for a whole cycle to protect against pregnancy, if you stopped early and an egg was then released, your husband’s sperm could well be present at days 9-10 of your cycle.

You need to take a test.

I took a test the day after and it came back negative. I still haven't had my period since end of April.

I only had unprotected sex on 30th April and not after I stopped the pill.

Not sure why my period hasn't returned.

Unfortunately contraceptive pill do tend to mess your cycle up, hopefully it will return soon
