BFP after miscarriage in April

Hello šŸ‘‹šŸ» I got my BFP yesterday, and I am so happy but so scared I’m gonna lose it again after what happened last time. I’m now 20 DPO and the test lines look good. I would like to have blood tests to check my hcg levels but how do I go about doing that?

I have attached images of my tests. The top one was yesterday afternoon, the digital one was later on in the afternoon yesterday. Then next one was this morning with FMU and the bottom one was about 10 minutes ago.

Thanks in advance ā¤ļø

Hey- so sorry to hear thatx

Have you had any other mcs before- and were you given a reason for mc? I miscarried my first baby in March and was pregnant again in September of the same year. That pregnancy was healthy and I now have a wonderful 4 year old.

i think until 20 weeks I was pretty paranoid and didn’t actually tell many people until then .. but I went on to be fine. I know this may seem crazy but after a miscarriage I found that birth wasn’t that scary cause I’d felt the contractions before and want afraid. I know it’s a bit dire but it was a small positive after the misery of m/c. So sorry for your loss, take care of yourself and also enjoy being pregnant! So exciting ā¤ļø

Thank you so much for your message. No I wasn’t told the reason just that it happens sometimes. I thought I had pcos but it was never fully confirmed. Can I get in touch with my local early pregnancy unit and request a blood test or will they not do it?

Yeah it’s so weird cos the feeling I have this time are more of anxiety and worry. I’ve told my mum and sister but my partner is adamant that we don’t tell anyone else, but I feel abit like I’d like atleast my close female family members to know so I can get advice etc. I get on really well with his mum and sister too. I respect his decision though and I won’t tell anyone but it’s gonna be hard xx

Hi OP, gentle congratulations on your bfp ā¤ļø
I had a late pregnancy loss last year and am currently pregnant with my rainbow, so I completely empathise with your anxiousness. Have you contacted your GP or a midwife yet? I felt the same as you and wanted my HCG levels testing in early pregnancy. My midwife was really understanding and arranged it for me, she actually took the bloods herself to save me visiting hospital.
Also if you have an idea how far along you are sometimes it can bring some reassurance to have an early reassurance scan. I had one when I was around 8 weeks so I knew there should definitely be a heartbeat. It brought me a lot of reassurance (though sadly the anxiety seems to always come back!)
Wishing you lots of luck and a happy, healthy pregnancy xx

I have had 3 CP in the last 6 months. Last one with 3rd May and I have just got BFP this evening cd27, 10dpo. I almost expect that this will be another chemical, feeling very anxious.
