Period help please

Hi everyone I took my period last Thursday night so I'm now on day 7 (length my period normally lasts) yesterday I took tranexamic acid and it helped lighten my period and was basically gone by around midnight which was when I took my last 2 tranexamic acid tablets all day today I just had minimal dark brown staining when wiping then an hour ago I went to toliet and there was bright red blood on my pad
And i just went to the toliet and passed a clot and I'm red bleeding again
Is this due to the tranexamic acid my last day is usually just brown staining
Anyone bleed red right till the end worried the tablets have prolonged my period now
Feel so down just want it to stop

I havnt took anymore tranexamic acid from midnight last night
I'm scared to take anymore incase it stops the bleeding then it will start again when I stop and make my period really long
I'm bleeding red and having a few clots it's not heavy but it's enough blood

Hi @Lily189 I'm sorry you're having problems with your period.

This is the Pregnancy section of the forum, and I'm sure if you're taking tranexamic acid then you're not pregnant or trying to become pregnant....
