Second pregnancy with much longed for baby so I don't like to 'complain' but omg am I ready for him to be here! All of a sudden this last week it feels like there's been a really sudden shift from feeling ok to REALLY uncomfortable. I feel (and am) massive, waking hourly, can't get comfortable on the sofa, really hungry but feeling sick/heartburn when I eat, and how he's lying is just really uncomfortable! I'm struggling to walk and regularly feel very breathless! I want to enjoy my last couple of weeks being off work etc and nesting but I'm going to struggle at this rate! Didn't feel like this at the end of my last pregnancy either! Trying to just stay focused on the fact we'll be meeting him soon and am so excited for that!

How's everyone else!? X

@newtolineofduty Completely with you! I'm 37+5 and so fed up , feel so ungrateful for moaning but it's not been the best pregnancy and I'm completely fed up! Like you I don't think I was this fed up 1st time around!

@Rhodesxo thank you for the validation! Sorry to hear you've had a rubbish time! I'm currently relaxing with TV but bloody breathless at rest so tempted to get up and do jobs to distract myself but I'm in too much pain with my back! Xx

37+6 here and super fed up too!!!! Got a midwife appt this morning and going to ask for a sweep if possible to see if things can get moving.
I'm also measuring a week ahead and feel like a big fat whale and everything keeps swelling 😣

newtolineofduty · 25/05/2022 09:44

@emilylouisee yes my bump is a week ahead too! Aww I wonder what your midwife will say?! Is it your first baby? Im booked in for a section in two weeks and Im just counting down x

38+3 here and it honestly takes me about 10 mins to move from the couch. Add in how the past week or so the cramping and braxton hicks my back have been ramping up and waking up every night at 4.30 with acid reflux, I could cry.

I've resigned myself to the fact this one will not come early as my other two were 8 days past their due date and this one will most likely be the same! Sweep booked in 2 weeks so we'll see!

It's funny how it the last few weeks just feel like they drag right in too and then boom! Baby is here and the time then flies x

@lilbumblebee yes it just feels like all of a sudden it's so uncomfortable! Fingers crossed this little one isn't as comfy as your other two clearly were! X

@newtolineofduty

They did a feel of my belly and said baby was half engaged?

newtolineofduty · 25/05/2022 13:49

@emilylouisee that's a good sign then that they're in the right position x hopefully they won't wait too long and you won't need to be induced x my baby was transverse until just recently and his feet are now right until my ribs kicking away! Love feeling his movements but omg it's impossible to sit comfortably! X
