First period after d&c. Ovulated 7 days ago and now bleeding.

I had a d&c 4 weeks and 3 days ago. It took my body around 2 weeks and 3 days before I was getting back negative pregnancy tests. So I started ovulation tests straight after and they came back positive around 1 week after. Between that, we have been quite active.
I am now one week after ovulating and I've started bleeding. It is like a period, with red blood constantly filling a pad and uncomfortable cramps.

I didn't expect a period to come so soon after ovulating. Is this quite typical after a d&c? It's sending my mind into turmoil, not sure what to think. I would really appreciate hearing what other people's experiences were.

@caffaccinoo opk tests are not reliable after having a miscarriage for first cycle so could be out on ovulation, but after my first loss I bleed 18 days after my miscarriage tour body might take awhile to get in to rhythm again I know mine did after all 4 of my miscarriages.

Yea I agree with pp your body may be a bit all over the place.

After my mmc I had the surgery and used opk's and I had about 3 peaks throughout the 7 weeks before my period came.

If you're unsure call your epu/ gp.
