Are there any succes stories of natural pregnacy over 45.
I will be 47 in sept. I am 7 weeks pregnant now. I had 1child at 40. Ectopic at 41. A miscarried last August, all after trying for 17 years before my 1st born. I'm scared of all the worries around having a health child. My 1st ultrasound last week could not find the heartbeat and hcg level was 30,496. Dr's say maybe too early, so next scan is later this week.
I conceived natural everytime.

A lady I used to work with had a surprise pregnancy at 48 (baby delivered at 49). She had a smooth pregnancy and a beautiful little boy.
There are more risks but it's possible to have a baby over 45. Best of luck with your next scan.

I had a dc at 43.2. Several mc after that. Including 1 a few days before I was 48!! Thinning of the uterine lining is a problem later on so possibly that or just not a non viable embryo
. Not a medic just what GP told me.

Update hcg level went down from 30469 to 27919 yesterday. Today went back up to 29000, second Scan says bleeding around the sac still no fetal pole. Dr says miscarriage but scheduled more blood work in 3 days another Scan in a week. Very confusing
