I just got back from my second reassurance scan at the hospital because the baby is measuring a week behind, my HCG levels weren't doubling fast enough, and things were looking bleak.
There is still a heartbeat - 163 - and the baby has grown relatively to its new dating, so I'm 6+6 instead of 7+6.
I'm still very worried, mainly because now the problem seems to be that the gestational sac is very small, only 2.5mm bigger than the baby, and I've read this is not good at all.
I've already resigned myself to the fact I'm going to have another bloody miscarriage (I did so two weeks ago when the HCG stopped rising fast enough) but this rollercoaster of hope and uncertainty is exhausting.
Does anyone have any success stories with very small gestational sacs? Or should I just prepare for the worst?
