Spotting and EPU

Hi,

I started spotting on Saturday night which was dark red with clots and has eased into a dark brown rusty colour. I spoke with my EPU today and the lady said to take a pregnancy test on Saturday morning and if I'm still pregnant she'll arrange an early scan.
Does this sound right to any of you? Saturday seems ages away.

Hi, sorry you are going through this, it’s so hard to wait around not knowing.

How many weeks are you?

dreamyunicorn · 23/05/2022 19:15

@Phoenixwings1989 how far gone are you? I suppose if you're early they could want to wait to make sure they definitely see something on a scan.

Was all the blood loss just on the one night?

Phoenixwings1989 · 23/05/2022 20:24

@WednesdayStar4 I am 7 weeks coming up 8 on Thursday.

@dreamyunicorn no the loss happened over a course of two day from Saturday. Still dark brown when I wipe and it fills the toilet paper.

Spotting has cleared up and I took a pregnancy test this morning and I am still pregnant.

@Phoenixwings1989
She wolrong to say about the pregnancy test tbh cause all 4 of my miscarriages my test where still positive for 2 weeks or more, I would phone them back tomorrow and demand a scan. Sorry your going through this.

Babyghirl · 24/05/2022 20:49

@Phoenixwings1989
Was wrong that was meant to say new phone and autocorrect lol.

Diamondbabe · 24/05/2022 20:54

Could you get a private scan?

Phoenixwings1989 · 24/05/2022 21:54

@Babyghirl i am so sorry to hear that. I was thinking about ringing back before then anyway but worried they'll shrug it off. Autocorrect is a menace. I knew what you meant.

@Diamondbabe I haven't ruled out a private scan albeit pricey at £80 though but it would be worth it for peace of mind.
