TMI constipation and waters leaking?

Sorry for the tmi but I've been loosing a lot of mucus stringy discharge for weeks now. I've been a bit blocked up lately, and today while pushing on the toilet after emptying my bladder I had quite a bit of water trickle out of me.

Could this of been my waters

I don't have the answer to that myself, but might be worth mentioning how many weeks you are?

If you think it’s your waters, you need to go to hospital for them to check.

I remember walking round Aldi at about 35 weeks and feeling what felt to me like a gush of water, I went home and called my midwife who booked me an immediate appointment with the hospital to check. Thankfully it wasn’t my waters, I felt ridiculous wasting their time but they said never to think of it that way and always to get checked out if something feels different. I would call, get checked out and hopefully have your mind put at rest.

I do also remember never feeling like I’d fully emptied my bladder at this stage, would sit on the toilet for ages to make sure I wouldn’t stand up and wee myself 🙈 Pregnancy is so lovely! 😂

I'd recommend calling your midwife and getting it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry!
