Gender prediction? Quite a clear nub I think!

Hello, wondering if anyone has any suggestions on gender of baby at 12 week scan, based on the nub?

Going against the grain here but to me that is a girl big as it’s in-line with the spine. The nobbly bit on the end everyone is referring to doesn’t mean much in my experience with boy / girl nubs, it’s to do with the angle.

@dreamyunicorn not yet. I have my 20 week scan in 2 weeks but not sure if we are going to find out yet. Will let you know. I am hoping for girl but have a feeling boy. As long as healthy I am happy though :-)

The picture has a vary flat nub so would guess girl but baby also looks younger than 12 weeks so there is still time for this to change, optimum time is on 13 weeks for a nub :)

@stairgates yes it's only 11w2d so you're right, a bit too early as from what I've read it can go either way.

It looks girly at this stage, but they often all do at 11 weeks because the nub hasn’t developed fully yet so it’s too hard to say at that gestation. Do let us know though, if you find out :)

Hi all, just to say, we didn't end up finding out at 20 week scan last week (it was tougg not to), so will let you know in November! I didn't see anything to indicate either sex during scan but one of my pics seems to have something sticking up in the area so still clueless really :-D

For those still interested, he's a boy!
