Hi all-
just looking for some advice/ similar stories… I am pregnant again after giving birth only 9 months ago…wasn’t planned. I’m not sure how I should feel..
I was looking forward to getting back to work and sorting out the next steps in my career had also discussed this with managers and all seemed keen on having me back - how will I explain that I will be off on leave again! Also financially I was able to have 13 months off with baby no1, not sure how long I could afford so soon again.
Also have just got into a routine baby and just genuinely am scared about how things will be with 2 under 2…!

anyone had any similar experiences ?

Not me- but a close friend. Years of infertility treatments and started looking into donor eggs/adoption abroad and got pregnant. Not using contraception when baby was 3mths old- got pregnant naturally with twins!!! They had 3- under 2yrs!!!

Do you have family support to help? What do YOU want to do? How does your partner feel? Can you afford another baby now?

Well we also had our first after 4 years of infertility and feel hugely blessed to be able to finally have a baby, we were told that we would probably need treatment again for any future pregnancy which is why we were not careful…my husband thinks it’s great that the kids will be able to grow up together and we did always want 2 atleast, he also feels that it is best as we are already older parents in our 30s…

we could afford the baby overall, I just feel maybe things like holidays and 13 months off first tiem round for mat leave may need to be reduced to less - could definitely make it work financially but just feel a huge bout of anxiety around how we will
cope physically with the tiredness.. I am already finding it so hard with morning sickness and looking after a baby…
hopefully things will worK out!
