Courtesy in hospital ward room?

So I've been admitted to hospital until I am induced in the morning. I'm in a room with 2 other women who have already been induced. I completely understand they are in discomfort. One is doing exactly the same as me, lights off, very quiet, trying to doze.
The other is very loudly listening to her phone with her partner and the lights on full brightness. AIBU to think this is not OK?! Does she need the light on really and could they not have brought headphones like the rest of us?
I really want to try and get some hours of sleep before the induction, so maybe I'm just being grumpy. But it is almost midnight!

YANBU. Can you put your headphones on and try to sleep. Not ideal I appreciate! Or ask if you can be moved? Unlikely but makes the point.

Not unreasonable at all. People are so inconsiderate. I spent a night on the ward after giving birth and other women were listening to music and loudly talking on the phone.

I was in hospital for 3 days before DS was born and 4 days after. I got 0 sleep because of others.

One lady was FaceTiming her ENTIRE family at 3am who were in another country. They were all so loud and the call lasted for hours.

Others were listening to music . Having loud conversations.. coughing all night , moaning all night .. being on their phone to their husbands etc etc

I never swore so much in my head in my entire life 🤣

I just don't get it!! There's no need! Thankfully the midwife came in at midnight and turned her light off and asked her to use headphones. I managed to sleep til 1.30 and then again til 4am.
Hospital sleep is so crap!

Having DD exposed me to exactly what utter mannerless fuckwits the majority of people are. The postnatal ward was like a zoo.
