Does anyone have any tips for falling and staying asleep? I’m 9 weeks tomorrow and for the past 2 weeks I’ve not been able to fall asleep until around midnight then I wake up at 3am and that’s that. I don’t fall back to sleep again and I’m SO TIRED!!

I have a regular bedtime routine, it’s nice and cool in my room and my husband is even sleeping in the other room to try and help me sleep. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Just hopping on here too but I'm only 6-6.5 weeks. Literally struggling to sleep but I'm so tired

From very early on on pregnancy I was waking up early - often around 3.30 to 4.30am. I am not normally an early riser!

It got better at around the 14 week mark I recall. I would even manage to sleep until 8am or even 9am on the rare occasion my toddler allowed it!

Now I'm 26 weeks and for the last 10 ish days I've been waking up very early again. I've been awake since 5am and have been chasing round after my 2 year all day. Now she's asleep in bed I'm fit for absolutely nothing despite having loads I need to do. My partner usually helps a lot on his days off and when he comes home from work but he badly injured his back this morning.

@Babyiwantabump are you due Christmas Day like me? I’ve just got into bed and am going to do a Headspace wind down in the hope it might help. Fingers crossed I get more than 3 hours tonight! This is killing me as I can’t nap in the day - never have been able to. My body seems to sleep when it decides to rather than when I decide to. I fell asleep at work the other day as well (luckily I work from home) but it’s far from ideal! 😂

@Catsarethebest85 I'm due Christmas Day! 😬 I don't however have your sleep issue.. I have the opposite 😂 I'm asleep by 9pm and up at 6:30am but before getting pregnant I slept 2am- 6am 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

That sounds like heaven! I’d love to have a great nights sleep like that! 😂

Yep due Christmas Day!
so exhausted even coming on here feels like a mammoth task at the moment .

I hope this passes soon!

@Babyiwantabump I have my fingers crossed for you. I’ve slept like a baby the last couple of nights! I hope the fact the insomnia going away isn’t a bad sign. I don’t have many symptoms other than occasionally sore boobs and the odd bout of tiredness or nausea but nothing major so I’m hoping I’m just lucky!
