Loss of mucus plug at 39+6 - how long until labour begins?

I know no one can answer this really, but I’m interested to hear others' experiences!

I’m 39+6 and have just lost my mucus plug (clear/yellow rather than bloody, though). Apologies for the TMI but I had loose bowels all day Thursday and have been having Braxton Hicks on and off for a while. No other signs of labour so far.

So, if you lost your mucus plug close to your due date, how long was it until you went into labour?

I was 40 weeks exactly. Plug went at 6pm. Baby born at 11pm after a two hour labour. First baby.
