Hey guys, so I'm stressing slightly... so obviously we can now eat runny eggs which is amazing and I've come out to a local deli in Norfolk and ordered poached eggs and after I'm like oh no they probably aren't British lion because I think they use local produce 🙈 then the fear came over me, should I be stressing?

No.

Can you ask them if they vaccinate their eggs? If they do, it'll be the same as lion stamped.

Hens not eggs 🤦🏻‍♀️

Well I had already eaten them so couldn't bring myself to ask! 🙈 just in case they say no and then I'll go into panic mode!

Nah, you'll be fine! Bet they were lovely!

The risk is really low OP. I have my own hens and was advised to eat lion stamped eggs only by my midwife but had carbonara for tea tonight with our own eggs and they weren't fully cooked through. I'm not worried. I ate some unpasteurised cheese at work yesterday and didn't realise until I read the label 🙈 but again I'm not worried.
