My first was born emergency c section after his heart rate kept dropping whilst i was beeing induced at 37 weeks due to them discovering he was very small, he came out at 4lbs 5oz just under the 0.4th percentile.

Now due my seccond in 8 weeks and i had my 32 week growth scan yestoday and babys tummy is measuring above the 95th percentile but all other measurments are under the 50th percentile. Baby is not showing any slow in growth which is good. The estimated weight of baby right now is 4lbs 11oz.

Im worried about the risks of my previous c-section scar tearing esspecially if this baby is going to be a big baby but i would really like to try for a natural birth as i dont want the recovery of a c-section with having to look after my toddler too who is yet to walk. If i didnt have a clingy toddler and live in a flat with no lift i think i would choose an ELCS straight away. Im so torn on what to do.

Anyone else had a tiny baby first time then a big baby seccond time?

Hi I had a emergency c section and my baby was only 3lb13. Went on to have a natural birth with a 6lb13 baby and all went well x

A belly is soft and squishy not an issue. Large head broad shoulders are the problem.
my dd had a beautiful VBAC, not everyone is so fortunate but I suggest you try.
