Trying to stay positive in the 2WW

I had my IVF embryo transfer last weekend but for the last day or so I have started to feel really sure it’s not worked/the embryo hasn’t stuck.

one of my biggest concerns is for the last 2 days it has felt like I am about to start my period, not cramping (as I googled this and all the articles were around cramping and that it could also be a sign of implantation) but more a dull ache, lower down, an ache I usually put down to my lining shedding (I have very clotty periods, everything on the pads are 90% clots) obviously I don’t know that’s what this feeling is, but it does make sense as it always feels achy, almost like pulling in the lower part of my uterus.

Not sure what I am looking for here, but has anyone had this too and it worked out? I don’t have any female relatives or friends I talk about period stuff with so not sure if this achy, pulling pre period feeling is normal and therefore is unlikely due to my lining shedding and the clots.

I have said to my clinic I am going to test a bit early, they want a test on Wednesday but I am doing one Monday and Tuesday too, as by Monday my trigger injection would be fully out of my system, and if the embryo had stuck there would have been 5 days of HcG production by then too.

I need to keep positive but I have such an awful, almost instinctive feeling it’s not worked
