I will try keep this brief...

Bfp following iui unmedicated. Early mc in Dec so advised to use cyclogest progesterone pessaries, 2 x 400mg daily. Been fine. Phone today to get more before I go on holiday and Consultant is like hmmmm you can stay on them if you like but i need to make you aware of the vague link to autism when using.

Hadn't heard this before... He said use of progesterone in first trimester can cause autism according to a few studies and had to let me know. He couldn't tell me the risks of stopping now after 19 days use.

Does anyone have any experience of anything similar?

Never heard of this 😱 I've 2 elder children with Autism and used progesterone in my last pregnancy due to losing the 2 previous ones. Baby is 8 months and showing some red flags already. Rotating his wrists constantly. I'm away to research this but if my lo has it it could prob be genetic at this point (for my family anyway)
