Bleeding after… 7 weeks pregnant

Hi all,

So I’ve had recurrent miscarriages (5) and now I’m pregnant again, I’m 7 weeks. I’m on progesterone because I had bleeding in my previous pregnancies (no live births) and so far I haven’t had any bleeding. However, last week after intercourse I started to have spotting for a few hours with little pieces of what seemed like tissue. It cleared up after 2 hours. This morning I had a dream (the kind some pregnant women have) and I woke up because of a very strong contraction, and I have bleeding again. It’s with little pieces of red tissue again but it’s not a lot of blood. Should I go get checked out? Has anyone else experienced this after sexual activity?

It’s not my first time at the rodeo and I’ve seen it all already so I’m prepared for the worst outcome but this seems to happen every time after sexual activity. Just wondering if you all think it’s worth going to my obgyn for a quick visit (I’m not in UK). She told me I can come if I have bleeding.

Hi @Bumbleflower22 I would definitely go and get checked out just to get a doctor's opinion and some clarity.
I can't offer much help but I am also on progesterone for recurrent miscarriage, trying to have my first child, and I am 7 weeks pregnant today. I have found that the cyclogest pessaries have made my vagina/cervix very sensitive and easily irritated. So much so we've only had sex once since ovulation week and had to stop because it was so sore. I was fully expecting spotting afterwards but didn't get any, possibly because we stopped fairly quickly.
I really hope you're okay and everything works out for you xxx
