m/c 4 weeks ao

i had another m/c four weeks ago was 6 weeks this time round...wasn't sent for a scan or anything and i didnt pass anything sizeable. only passed tiny little flake like stuff. haven't had my period yet did another test and was negative...did it in the evening though? does anyone think i should retest cos still really tired!

If it will put your mind at ease it's probably worth doing a morning wee test. If you still feel pregnant then maybe go to the docs on Monday and let them know, see if they'll send you for a scan? My doctors are rubbish usually, but they send you for a scan if you ask for one, to put your mind at rest, so it's worth asking!

Is there any way you could have got pregnant again straight away? I'm no genius when it comes to these things, but I was told this is when you're most fertile.

yeah there is a chance i could of got pregnant again, would be nice if i was/ still was but im dreading ti if i am pregnant again cos will be really really paranoid!

I'll be crossing my fingers for you. Don't worry, I've been paranoid all the way through mine, a good whinge on MN and a visit to the doctors usually sets me right.

Aw Fran, nevermind, hope it happens for you next month- just make sure you hang upside down after sex, or put pillows under your bum to elevate- it worked for me! Lots of luck.

i fell preg after 1 cycle after my MC. im now 7 weeks. you will fall preg again. i did the pillow trick it works ;)

well as huby dont want any for quite some time i went and had the depo injection yesterday so feeling pretty shitty about that! only lasts three months though so its not as if its forever. still annoyed i had to get it though just to make him happy

I just dont think he understands how important having another baby is to me. But thinking it might be best in the long run after 2 miscarriages in 6 months cos I dont wanna go through that again but last time i didnt wanna leave it too long before i developed a 'omg im never gonna be able to carry a baby again' thing.

I have someone saying to me that is 14 weeks pregnant 'who is intentionally rubbing it in my face because we dont get along' that i should appreciate the DS i have and stop focusing on the ones i have lost because there isnt anything i can do about it. That really does hurt and i worship the ground my DS walks on after loosing two recently.

that is terrible! i have someone like that too. i was over the moon when i was pregnant the first time in sep and told her she wasnt happy when i was and loved it when i had the MC as she is preg now. about a month after i had the mc she said do you wanna come with me to my scan as you wont be able to have one yourself! i couldnt beleive she could be so heartless! i havent got time for ppl like that any more. if she wasnt preg i would love to give her a slap! lol
i think your DH is just looking out for you and ofcourse your not going to feel any less for your DS if you want another child. just spend the next 3 months doing the family things like going out with hubby nights in with DS. it will make you feel alot better to know you have 2 ppl that love you so much and if you want to try again explain to your DH how important it is to you to have another baby im sure he will understand. keep us posted and keep strong x

I miscarried four weeks ago too (well, started bleeing on Xmas day - 6wks pg) and am still bleeding. Is sooo frustrating as would like to get on a try again but can't do anything until bleeding stops.

I had scan 2 weeks ago to check all gone and it was and had blood test 2 wks ago showing hormone going down (was low - 54) but bleeding has picked up again now (went to brown for a few days now bright red again and heavier) and did a test yesterday and still showing +ve so now feel like I still have a long haul before it's going to be finally over.

ahhhhhh! Feels odd that I was going to have a baby this year but now with bleding going on it seems even if I do fall again soon baby would be due next year - dh seems to think it odd that I think like that and doesn't see what the difference of a few months is!

Sorry for your loss Fran - I know how hard it is and I have 2 young children.

BTW - when I announced to my good friend with my first that I was pg we were due to go on a skiing holiday together and she said "Well you weren't planning this so why don't you ski and if anything happens then it doesn't really matter as it wasn't planned anyway" I didn't say anything as was so shocked and think she was just quite put out and couldn't have realised what she was really saying. I may remind her of that one day though as it really hurt.

To ellsbells...well this person who is rubbing it in has put her scan pic like everywhere I go on the internet, its doing my head in, would have been 11 weeks now!!! grrrr

bout the skiing thing omg thats awful and the scan thing, i really would have punched her lights out!

2 roca...i know whatcha mean i was showing +ve for another 2 weeks after, and was kinda in denial about it and nearly convinced myself it was just an implantation bleed (which it so werent), bled for about 10 days. Have had a period since (was 5 weeks +2 days ago now) that was a weird period cos was passing a few clots etc (nothing too major though) so dont think i had cleared out properly when i lost the baby and i was never sent for a scan cos was only 6 weeks!

Funnily enough phoned hospital today to check why fresh new blood and why still +ve they said it might be my period starting (has been 4 weeks since mc bleeding strarted)- I have also now just had a few more clots so may be same as you.

Thing is that I have had no break in bleeding as such and there is a question about the +ve test which they said may be false if blood got on the test so I have to do another with a tampon in so no blood gets on it. Fingers crossed this should be negative.

Not sure how could be my period if I still had hormone 2 weeks ago though - any ideas.

Fran - how long before you stopped bleeding and you period came?

i stopped bleeding after 6/ 7 days was still spotting thought til bout day 10 after. Had period exactly 5 weeks after bleeding started. They say you will have a period between 4+6 weeks after. After my first miscarriage at 12 weeks I bled for 12 days but once i had passed the feotus 2 days after bleeding started it was like a heavy period with clots. Had period exactly 4 weeks after.

still bit confused as to y you are still getting +ve tests. i had a -ve one 2 weeks after started bleeding.

Yeah do a test with tampon but if you are passing clots still they shouldnt advise you to wear a tampon due to a clot gettng stuck somewhere and risk of infection! if u ever need a chat im here and have msn if you do.

oh, ok, so it could be my period - in my head I kind of expected to stop bleeding before my cycles would start but I guess your body starts ovulation process as soon as hormone levels start going down?

Haven't had the chance to do another test - nurse only said wear a tampon just for the test so that should be fine. Will get a test tomorrow and see. Bleeding uo and down today - seems like is coming to an end but then goes red again.....
