Hi, I’m 32 weeks pregnant and have what I’m sure is a thrombosed haemorrhoid. I had one last year which I used anusol 4 way action and germaloids on and still had the creams left but without the leaflets. After surfing a few Mumsnet threads where anusol was recommended a lot, I started using the anusol cream I already have for a few days now and called the Dr today who is prescribing me uniroids.
After reading some more on the net I’ve come across quite a few searches that say anusol with hc, which is what the one I use has in it isn’t actually recommended during pregnancy and the same goes for the uniroid one that the Dr prescribed. I am panicking now as I have been using the anusol ointment for about 3 days now. Has anyone used any creams with hydrocortisone in them whilst pregnant or specifically anusol hc and was everything okay?!
