Low lying placenta experiences (previous section)

I've been diagnosed with low lying placenta at my 20w scan. I've read through threads on here but wondered if anyone could give an idea of experiences in my particular circumstances. My children will be 21 months apart, first was delivered by ECS. I've read that a previous c-section reduces the chance of the placenta moving but I can't find anything that says how much of a reduction it is. Im also wondering if given the relatively short time since my last section will have an impact. For info my notes say 'placenta reaches internal os' so not covering but very close.

I had low lying placenta with ds2 (ds1 was an emcs). My placenta moved. There's a lot of uterine growing to do between 20 and 36 weeks and because of the direction of growth your placenta will probably move further away from your cervix. Because your cervix doesn't grow but everywhere else does essentially.

I had type 4 placenta previa, where it completely covers the cervix and I had to stay in hospital due to risk of haemorhage. I saw a lot of women come in with low lying where it moved over time so the fact yours doesn't cover the os at this stage is very promising.

I’m getting re-scanned at 30 weeks so I’m hoping there will be movement.

@mubarak86 how many weeks were you admitted from?
