Hi guys,

Just need some reasurrance really.

I have been having daily headaches (forehead ones) quite heavy and can last from anywhere from 1-3 hours.

I am also finding myself being very tired and needing another nap in the day for an hour or so to make it through to bed time. I know that headaches are commman in the first 12 weeks and also tiredness but thought as I am sooo close to the 2nd trimester I wouldn't get them now.

Also just to add they only started about 5 days ago. I thought the hormones etc should e subsuding now since the placenta takes over?

Probably being silly an perhaps over cautious but hey! This is my 2nd baby.

Any other people having the same symtoms that have just started let me know.

PS. I haven't had any other symptoms except sore boobies!

Yes, i was exactly the same as you! Left at about 14 weeks. it is hormonal and headaches becuase of extra volume of blood.

'tis normal

It sounds entirely normal - I had rotten headaches in the first 3 months. I know it can be a sign of high BP too though so I would make an appointment to see the MW and get it checked out. Tiredness v v normal!

As far as I seem to remember it was about this time when I would come home from work and go straight to bed to nap for an hour or so because I was so tired... It passed after a few weeks or so.

i had this for 3 mths certain time of day my head would pound and id have to close curtains and just sleep

it can be due to stress and also hormone and blood pressure they eventually just stopped but i always slept when i got them

hope they stop for you soon mine used to make me sick also but doc reassured me all was ok but if worried at least just ask gp just incase
