Hi All,

My GP has referred my case (due to past miscarriages) to the Gynaecology Triage at St Marys hospital for Prof Lesley. Any idea what is expected and the likely waiting time to see Prof Lesley.

Are there any stumbling block before we could see Prof Lesley under NHS.

Appreciate if you could share your experience.

Hi there, I was referred to her by my GP after a few miscarriages. It was about 2.5 months when I first had appointment with someone in her team to discuss past etc, then a couple of weeks after that I had bloods and scan in the hospital, then waited 3 weeks and had a video call with Prof Regan to discuss results and further examinations. I called initially to see if could bring my initial appointment forward but they said its common that they have long waiting lists at her clinic.

I am still undergoing investigations there but hopefully* worth the delays and waiting as her clinic is very well regarded.

Hi there, no experience of waiting times as we saw her privately for recurrent miscarriage. She was excellent; efficient and reassuring. I got pregnant two months after an operation for a septate uterus and I'm feeding that baby as I type.
She's quite a character though! Just came on to say that you're in the best hands.
