Sunbathing in pregnancy

We're due to go to Spain next week. Looking at the weather it looks to be 26 degrees or so, I love the sun and sunbathing usually. Am I still okay to do this ? Obviously will stay hydrated and sit in the shade when I start to feel too hot but otherwise is baby going to overheat? I know we can burn easier in the sun when pregnant and will apply factor 50 and 30 but other than that is sunbathing alright ? Need a tan badly !

Yes it's absolutely fine!
I live in the tropics and was at the beach all the time whilst pregnant. As long as you take the regular sensible precautions for your own health as you normally would, your baby will be fine.
They won't cook in there!

I went to Greece recently at 27 weeks pregnant and I took a flannel that I wet with cold water and put over my bump to keep the baby cool and she seemed to like it as she would kick loads when I had it on!
