Clear positive then line faded after a few hours...

Hi, I'm looking to get some advice. I was due on my period 3 days ago so decided to take a test. I got a really strong Positive and after several hours the line has completely faded.

I don't want to get my hopes up as I've been trying for over a year but it was so clear as you can see in the photo. Just wondering if it's happened to anyone else?

You should only read pregnancy tests within the test window. It fading several hours later means nothing as it’s outside the test window. The positive came up within the time frame, you’re pregnant, congratulations.

What the test looks like hours later is irrelevant.

Just take another test, maybe a different brand to confirm for yourself!

This result came up with the fist minute of doing the test so well within the suggested time. I just don't want to get my hopes up as there is now no positive line on the test which has me worried that its wrong

As PP's said you shouldn't read the line outside of the test window. Mine faded too after a while. That looks like a definite positive to me.... congratulations!!

Thanks everyone. I'm going to do another test tomorrow and see what that one says. I never had this happen when i tested with my first pregnancy thats why it has me feeling nervous. Trying not to get excited but fingers crossed!
