Hi everyone! I'm new to this so please bare with me!

On the 6th April 2022 I had a miscarriage. I was 5.5 weeks along when I started bleeding. My hcg was only 6 and the pregnancy tests were negative

Anyways 5 weeks yesterday and I've just got a positive on a clear blue digital and many other cheap tests. I'm obviously excited but so nervous that I'm going to lose this one too. I guess what I'm looking for is positive stories for a pregnancy after a miscarriage?

I've booked an early scan in for the 5th June but that seems so ages away. I'm trying not to worry but can't help myself!

Thankyou in advance

Hi, congratulations on your pregnancy, how exciting!

Last year I had a missed miscarriage and found out at my 12 week scan, but 5 weeks later fell pregnant again and I now have a healthy 6 month old.

It is understandable that you feel nervous, I felt quite nervous for the majority of my pregnancy!

My advice would be to try and keep as busy as you can, plan lots of things to try and ease your anxiety! X

@Fayezp1210 Thankyou so much for your reply! I do feel a lot better this time round than what I did the first time. I'm definitely going to try and keep myself busy and not stress. What ever happens, happens and I can't control it! This gives me so much hope! 🤞🌈

That’s the best way to look at it, what will happen will happen and it’s totally out of your control.

Honestly keeping busy saved me! I would have been a nightmare otherwise!
