Hcg levels

So last Thursday I started pinks spots , the bleeding got red but still light not enough to fill a pad or a liner no pain or anything
The bleeding has not turned brown colour.
My doctors sent me for bloods done 48 hours apart. My first one was Wednesday and the results was 110 which to me seem really low for 5 weeks has anyone had this. I do go for my second bloods tomorrow but my anxiety is hitting the roof
Now I’m thinking I’m having a miscarriage due to the spotting and little bleed as my levels are quite low
Any advice.

Don't have any advice but I've been in a bit of the same situation, I was spotting which for a bit heavier but nothing like a period then passed a large clot last Friday and had nothing since. I'm in Greece so not tested again I've got an early test already booked for Sunday.

It's the waiting and not knowing that's horrible. Sorry I wasn't much help but I searched for others that had the same as me and didn't find much, our situation sounds similar and I think we're around the same dates, fingers crossed for you tomorrow

Hi first of all I'd like to say good luck it's definitely the feeling unknown like unsure. Hoping for the best for you!
I also passed a tiny blood clot on Monday nothing bigger than a penny but I wasn't in any sort of pain. My tests are still showing pregnant 2-3 x

It is I'm going to try and find somewhere to get a test this afternoon no where seems to sell them in Greece for some reason! Maybe you're a little earlier than you thought, from my last LMP I should be 9 weeks tomorrow so I went for an early scan at 6 weeks and the saw nothing so now I think I'm between 6-7 weeks. Did you have any cramps with your bleeding. X

I had no cramps at all not even through the clot loss. My doctors did mention that I could be only 4/5 weeks but I worked it out to be around 5 wks&4days today. It's just a really confusing situation. I had a misscarrige in march and it left nothing like that as it was really heavy with endless amounts of blood for around 2 week x

I think we are in the exact same situation I had a slight cramp when the clot came out then everything stopped, I assumed a miscarriage would be much more painful and more blood, this is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what should/ shouldn't be happening and everyone is different but from what I've googled which is a lot, it's pretty common to have spotting, I guess time will tell but the wait is so painful, let me know how everything goes tomorrow x

I know I keep Googling and it's just saying a hormonal bleed is common. I'm hoping for the best situation for us both. I'll be sure to let you no the outcome after my blood tomorrow.

It does seem quite low - for comparison mine at 5+1 was 14,500 but that was extremely high. Though saying that, it's not the actual number that matters but whether they double so tomorrow will give you a better indication.

Mine at 4+4 were 108 but it's nothing to do with the first figure. It's the doubling that matters @Emilyjaynee666 you may have just ovulated later or something but I wouldn't worry yet. I'm 7+1 and had 3 US and heard the HB x

Tbh I'm not sure when I convinced as I had a miscarriage in march and then ended up pregnant straight away without having a period. I'm hoping that I'm not as far as I think or that I'm just slow rising hcg.

i'm so sorry you're going through this, the waiting and worrying and overthinking and googling is so tough. hoping you get a positive answer from your second bloods.

It really is, I'm hoping for the best outcome but after a miscarriage you think the worst of everything z

@Emilyjaynee666 it's awful when you don't know exactly when you ovulated as it does provide so much reassurance. I had an Ectopic In December a 4 MC over the past 3 years and I always ovulated a few days later than normal after them so it's probably that you ovulated later but I know how nerve racking it is waiting 48 hours between bloods and then waiting for US scans etc. The amount of googling I did was horrendous but the happy ending stories helped 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have everything crossed that this works out for you but if it helps then most women go onto have a successful pregnancy after a MC x

Hi OP just a heads up as most people saying it's not to do with the number it's whether it doubles. That's what I've also always read online.

I had a bleed at 5 weeks and my HCG read as 19,000. Re read in 48 hours - only 19,500 I Thought game over as they have to double. But no - I'm almost 33 weeks and pregnancy was fine. Please don't lose hope. Good luck X

Hi , I've been for my second set of bloods so I'm just waiting for the results, I did take some more tests which are still strong positive hoping for the best , your stories are making me feel more positive about the situation thankyou all x

No I didn't, counting down the hours till I get home to do one I'm worried if it's negative it's going to make me more anxious for my scan on Sunday x

yeah but I suppose they could still be positive while the hcg is lowering x so either way I'm unsure x
