I am 12+3 weeks and I had a scan 3 days ago and my tummy is so sore, the sonographer had to push quite hard to see baby clearly and I'm struggling with movement as it feels super bruised and sore... does anyone know if this is normal and how long this will last???

I had this too - she really pushed that thing hard! I was sore for a day or so afterwards

She wasn't getting great images with the abdominal scan though so she switched to the transvaginal scanner after a while. I was so glad!!!! Way more comfortable 😀

I had pain for 2-3 days after my 20week scan the lady pressed that hard.

I had to go back at 22 weeks and this lady was much nicer, she said "let me know if I'm hurting you". Wish i'd let the other woman know.
