Pain below bump

I'm 17+6 today and when I got home started doing some chores. Was up and down alot picking things up off the floor and up and down the stairs with things. Underneath my bump started really hurting, all across the centre. Like a stitch kind of. I'm having to have a sit down and it does stop when I'm not moving around but also keep getting the odd tight pain in one spot. When I got up all across my lower bump cramped up and stopped me on my tracks.
Anyone know what it might be ?
Thanks

When you say below your bump, is it your pelvis kind of area? Could be pelvic girdle pain/SPD.

I had it when pregnant with my Son and it was agony the further on I got! The midwife can refer you for physio but I had my Son during covid and they weren't seeing patients so no idea on the effectiveness

@Lou98 It's across where your pubic hair would start if that makes sense ? So quite low down.
I have been having bad trouble with my left hip and left lower back for the last week.
Could spd cause these type of pains ? I thought possibly round ligament but they aren't one sided this was central and all across. Felt like a muscle cramp almost

Yeah SPD can cause that, it sounds a lot like how mine started!

It could also be round ligament pain and everything stretching, I did often find it felt quite cramp like.
If it's more one sided it could be that baby is lying more towards that side and that's why you're feeling it there more.

Paracetamol and a hot bath I always found helped relieve it a little bit

I had that around the same time whenever I was doing chores or overexertion and it was just ligament pain.

Same except I didn't even need to be doing chores to complain about ligament pain 🤣

So can doing too much cause it ?

Yes doing too much can cause it. Any concerns give your midwife a call that's what they are there for or see your GP even if it's just for reassurance. From my own experiences round ligament pain for me was let one sided and was all across the bottom of my bump but just get yourself checked out by a professional to be siren

quietnightmare · 08/05/2022 23:20

Sure ( not siren)

Round ligament pain was NOT ONE SODED ( Sorry I can't type today )
