Hey ladies,

I'm 30+5 with my second baby. I'm also T1 Diabetic and my baby is tracking really small (3rd centile) so I have another growth scan on Tuesday. The Dr's told me to be extra vigilant with movements so last night I ended up in Triage for reduced movements (1st case). She failed to meet the criteria on the first trace but was fine on the 2nd so we were discharged with the plan to follow up at the scan on Tuesday.

However, driving home, I came across feeling really nauseous. The nausea stayed until the early hours of the morning when I got up and was very sick.

Today I'm still feeling really sick and just ache all over, particularly in my back.

In the night and today, I have felt what I can only describe as a really uncomfortable popping sensation in my cervix, almost like she is booting it and it feels like her foot is going to fall through but I know her head is right down.

Could everything be connected or am I just being paranoid and have picked up a random bug somewhere? They checked my BP and urine in triage last night and they were fine.

Xx

could it be lightning crotch?

call midwife and discuss. Any concern is enough to warrant a call.

@DSawyer no, I've had lightning crotch before which has felt very different. I've been sick again since this morning. After being in triage last night I don't want them thinking I'm some hypochondriac 🙈

@Tigerlily08 They won’t think that at all. I know it’s horrible to just keep phoning up or seeing medical staff but if it’s enough for you to post on mn then it’s best to call 😊Hope you haven’t been too sick today!

They absolutely won't. They would rather you did ring.

Could you be going into early labour? My friend had really bad vomiting and diarrhea before her labour started, she couldn't keep any food down x
