Hello I’m probably winding myself up for no reason !
I had a scan this morning all was fine strong heartbeat baby is growing perfectly so far but this afternoon I’ve had a little brown stringy discharge and now I’m panicking!! I had it previously at 5 weeks and all was fine. Has anyone else had this I’m figuring it’s old blood as it’s brown and as baby was fine on the ultrasound it’s unlikely to be anything ominous. I have a cyst on my right ovary that has shrunk from 6cm to 3cm in the last 3 weeks between scans I’m wondering if this is bleeding as it’s slowly shrinking/bursting what ever it’s doing ?!?!
this is my first very much longed for pregnancy after trying for 12 years so I’m just worried all the time that my little bean isn’t going to make it 😩

Hey, I'm 14 weeks and had this yesterday and this morning. I rang the GAU at my hospital and spoke to the midwife who answered, she told me they would only be concerned if it turned into a proper bleed so I'm assuming it's nothing to worry about. Still, it's worth calling if you're worried xx

Brown is old blood so that is good news.
I had it on and off for weeks, no answers other than my cervix may have been irritated at some point.

As pp, bright red and filling a pad is when to panic.

Give them a ring if your worried for peace of mind

I would ring your midwife to put your mind at rest, but I had the same at 11 weeks and she is currently next to me eating a sausage sandwich 😊

Thank you everyone it seems to have stopped now but I will give my midwife a call in the morning just to be sure! I really want to relax and enjoy being pregnant but always seem to find something to worry about 😂
wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy 🥰🥰
