Think I’m miscarrying

5 weeks pregnant and had bleeding today and just passed a clot or two.
early preg scan booked for Wednesday but feel like it’s a bit pointless.
has this happened to anyone ?

Yes, last summer I started with brown spotting on a Wednesday, which by Friday changed to red bleeding with clots. I was about 6 weeks. If anything I'm glad it happened early before I had had any scans or anything. At that time it was also not worse than a heavy period.

Some people do have bleeding which turns out to be nothing, though. Fingers crossed that's the case for you!

Thanks, it was the very first time I had been pregnant, didn't take long after that though and I'm now 27 weeks. I did put myself on baby aspirin and progesterone for this one though.

It’s my third but first time with a bleed like this! So pleased for you though not long now!
