Very Newly pregnant, apart from cramping I don't have any symptoms, is this normal?

Yep! They'll kick in in the next few weeks, if you get any at all, that is.

hopingfor23 · 05/05/2022 16:16

Sore boobs and hot flushes but if I didn't know I was pregnant I wouldn't think much of it tbh

CoalCraft · 05/05/2022 16:26

Sore boobs in both my pregnancies. It was how I knew I was pregnant the second time, and what prompted me to test. Not everyone gets it though.

2bazookas · 05/05/2022 16:40

I felt pregnant within days of conceiving,, before I'd missed a period.
First time round, DH didn't believe me....

AsterRainbow · 05/05/2022 18:16

First pregnancy- Extreme hunger + sore nipples from the day AF due (like on fire!)

Second pregnancy- Extreme hunger (which actually made me test as didn't track that month!) Nipples only slightly sore.

Nothing major both times and no nausea or sickness!

Ilikecake05 · 05/05/2022 21:24

4th pregnancy and had severe reflux from 3weeks 5 days with this one but no symptoms until around 6 weeks with the other 3.

Thank you @AnxietyForever for making this thread and to all the wonderful ladies who have replied.
I'm 4 weeks 3 days with DC #1 (three previous losses) and this is the first time I've ever been pregnant and just not felt much at all! I have been experiencing fatigue, I had cramps at the beginning of the week, and I am a bit emotional, but my boobs are not sore, I'm not having any food aversions or nausea, no back ache or mega hunger ... It has been strange but as my last pregnancies did not end well I am hoping that different might mean good! Xx

SaturnSun · 05/05/2022 22:20

Absolutely starving constantly, extremely tired and hated the taste of red wine! But these were all before I tested so I didn’t know.

Nausea didn’t start until about 7 weeks but stayed until 25 weeks lolll 🥲

AnxietyForever · 06/05/2022 14:11

I did have some (mild) breast pain but that's stopped now and just have some cramps now and again oh and a little lower back ache.

It's interesting to see what other peoples symptoms are/were.

4w4d and not really had anything, on off cramping and very odd boob pain or wave of feeling sick but nothing to write home about ☺️ dr google says it's normal lol

Blossomandbee · 06/05/2022 14:21

I didn't have anything much until over 5 weeks when certain smells started turning my stomach, then the sickness kicked in at 6 weeks each time.
Prior to that I had a few bouts of dizziness, feeling thirsty, few hot flushes, but nothing I would've taken much notice of otherwise.

brokengoalposts · 06/05/2022 16:42

It's such an anticlimax after you've done the test, nothing happens gor ages, lol

Hana89 · 06/05/2022 16:58

@mrsgtobe97 Same! I had a sip of decaf latte today and had to put it down because it made me feel nauseous but that's been the first and only wobble I've had! Thank God for Dr Google! Haha!

@Blossomandbee That's helpful (and hopeful!) to know! I'll make the most of munching my way through my favourites while I can!

@brokengoalposts It really is! Haha! The two week wait is a killer, then you get the epic joy of a BFP and then ..... Nothing! It's bonkers!

So true

CurryandSnuggle · 06/05/2022 18:22

@2bazookas agree, I felt pregnant very quickly. I started to get reflux and I had very uncomfortable implantation cramps in one specific spot on my uterus, to the point I had to lay down.

By 7/8 weeks I developed bad nausea and started going off certain food/drink

Quadrilingual · 06/05/2022 21:12

I tested positive today 4 weeks roughly too. I've had a lot of gas, especially at night. I've been feeling increasingly nauseous over the course of today as well and been quite tired during the week. Also have been feeling mild cramps. Wonder if it's twins of so many symptoms!

AnxietyForever · 06/05/2022 22:11

I've felt quite crappy today too, at one point I though my period was coming (that's how it felt) but that's all for today really.

I'm about 4 weeks- got bfp today.
Total shock as I don't 'feel' pregnant but there have been a couple of occasions at work where I've commented on a smell that no one else can smell 😂

Quadrilingual · 06/05/2022 22:23

Yay congrats all of you!
Out of interest how many tests did you do to confirm?
I did one today and it was quite bold but I still questioned it. I want to do another one at the weekend just to make me believe it I guess.

Two this morning (cheap ones) then Amazon bringing a CB digital tomorrow that I'll do Sunday.

Neverreturntoathread · 06/05/2022 22:34

I was extra hungry, and thought cherries and tomatoes tasted amazing. No other symptoms at that stage though.

Neverreturntoathread · 06/05/2022 22:34

Oh yeah and my colleagues started to smell bad to me

user0512 · 06/05/2022 23:57

Did anyone have a positive ovulation test and discharge (watery EWCM)?

Thedogscollar · 07/05/2022 00:42

Regenbogen22 · 05/05/2022 16:13

Yep! They'll kick in in the next few weeks, if you get any at all, that is.

Fetal movements are usually felt between 16 and 24 weeks.
If this is your first baby it is usually around 20 weeks.
Fetal movements are a good indicator that your baby is well. You should definitely feel them if not contact your midwife.

TulipsGarden · 07/05/2022 00:47

I felt a bit dizzy and weird, but nothing major until week 6 when the nausea started (and lasted until week 20).
