Hi all
I'm 8 weeks and 2 days. I've been having a bit of minor spotting - pinky brown, not red and no real cramps. I've had a couple of early scans - the last one (two weeks ago) showed everything on track and a heartbeat of 133.. I had another scan 4 days ago and they said it was all fine but the heartbeat was only 118. They didn't seem worried but i've never heard of the heartrate going backwards, and it seems a bit low.
Has anyone had this happen??

Don't worry.
The normal baseline range is between 110-150 bpm and the variation is seen as a good thing.
It will accelerate beyond this if baby is moving.
Congratulations on your pregnancy.

@MrsPatrickDempsey thank you so much. have been deep in google and got very scared about the lower level (which i think is too low for 8 weeks). ugh! haven't been able to find anything anywhere about heart rate reductions early on (other than bad news)...
