Pregnancy

Talk about every stage of pregnancy, from early symptoms to preparing for birth.

Could these symptoms be signs labour is approaching? Or just normal last few weeks of pregnancy (35 weeks )

The other day I had what looked like part of my mucus plug, definitely not as big as what Ioft in 1st pregnancy (went into labour the night I lost of 1st time) I do also understand that it can grow back anyway

Loose bowel movements, usually constipated throughout pregnancy

Husband and mum saying bump had dropped a lot (feeling a lot more hungry , had awful sickness and heartburn whole way through but it has definitely eased of the last day or so)

Constant urge to wee, although this is pretty normal for me

Lot of pressure in lower belly /pelvis

Completlet exhausted, have been very tired anyway but definitely more tired than usual

Mild belly ache, but no actual patern so not linking to contractions

Or are these just all normal parts of the final weeks of pregnancy anyway ? 😅 can't remember feeling quite like this at 35 weeks with my 1st (born at 39+6)

I easily could have written this 4 weeks ago at 35 weeks... and I'm still pregnant now at 39+1 I walked around for weeks convinced I'd be going into labour early. Now I think I'll be going to 42 weeks. Sorry, I know it's not what you want to hear but I sympathise xx

That’s sounds really negative. Sorry! What I was trying to say was they could all be signs something is going to happen soon but equally they could go on for a while and not mean anything is happening imminently.

Following! I'm nearly 38 weeks with baby 3 and I cant remember how it started last time lol so following with interest.

I have been feeling.. different the last few days. Super super spring braxton hicks, so the point I have to breathe through them, with pains low down in my pelvis. Bump goes really tight and feels like all the air is squeezed out of my lungs. I lost a bit of my mucus plug yesterday morning. Been feeling absolutely wiped out energy wise, and just a bit queasy and very uncomfortable.

I'm due to be induced next weekend if baby hasnt made an appearance, due to GD and its measuring large. So hoping it comes on it's own!

Good luck xx

Are your babies movements the same?

I am 40+5 today and can sympathise with all of this. I've been feeling how you have described for a few weeks now. I think in short, it totally depends on the individual. Sometimes it can mean labour is on the way really soon and sometimes it means your body is preparing for labour, but of course that could mean waiting weeks. Sorry if that's not the answer you wanted!
