GD/Induction/IVF

Just looking for some advice really. I’m booked in for induction on my due date. Baby jumped from 90th to 97th centile from 29 weeks to 33 weeks and is predicted to be 9lb10 at 40 weeks. It’s IVF pregnancy, I’ve had quite a lot of abdominal surgery so there’s concerns if I needed c-section due to scar tissue. Everyone who I speak to with the baby measuring simile and I see posts seem to be induced earlier than 40 weeks. I’m just a bit concerned they are leaving it too late!

I’m 35 weeks today and baby is head down and in pelvis so I’m really hoping that he comes early! Also getting a lot of back/hip pain. Are these signs he may come early?

Do you have a consultant that you’ve discussed these results with?
I’m an IVF pregnancy so the plan was always to induce by 40 weeks if I got there. However at 34 weeks I jumped from 94th percentile (at 30w) to 99th in 4 weeks. Had GD tests but nothing came back as odd. Agreed to have another review at 38 weeks and follow a GD diet, baby had dropped to 93rd percentile thankfully but we’ve still agreed to induce at 39 weeks given size.
however I can totally empathise as I finished work at the 34w as I felt like I wasn’t going to get through the week (baby was 7lb 2 then apparently!) but I’ve managed to keep going with lots of rest so you might have a bit longer to go 🙂
