Help - Very bad reflux

Hi Mners, I am 9w pregnant after IVF. I have a peptic ulcer that flares up very, very infrequently. On Friday I had something spicy and I had the worst reflux. Alongside this I am taking daily aspirin which I have realised is not good with ulcers. I had an online gp appointment and she prescribed Omeprazole (sp?). I took it on Sunday and Monday and it helped. Stupid me, started the aspirin again and it's back. Just the constant feeling of the acid in my throat. Any advice?

I had dreadful reflux in all my pregnancies but not in the first trimester. Am I right in thinking you're taking the aspirin until 13 weeks or is it longer? I found omeprozole at night worked better. Did you tell the GP about the aspirin?
