No Movement to All Movement - 34 Wks

Hi guys,
I am really struggling mentally on this and wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience to me. I have an anterior placenta, I am 34 + 6 weeks today, and as far as I am aware, baby was head down facing the right way. On Sunday I noticed I was getting more uncomfortable in my back, my stomach had gone from round to flat, and my outie to an innie, and from around 8:30pm I felt the baby moving constantly.
We went to hospital Monday morning and passed the Ctg, baby kicked away for the first half, and slept for about ten minutes the second half. Midwife was happy with the CTG and couldn’t see any distress, she said it could be they have changed position or my placenta has moved up, but looks like baby is doing okay (although will be monitored three more times).
now, my question is, I went from feeling kicks maybe once an hour, or even every two/three hours, to feeling the baby move atleast every five minutes. Is this normal in back to back, or even for people with a posterior placenta - can you feel… everything? I expected baby to sleep, although I’ve read you can feel them kick in their sleep as it’s involuntary apparently! I was able to doze off last night, but when I wake up, if baby is kicking, I am struggling to get back to sleep. 😭 hence the early post today!
I just don’t know how I went from nothing to everything. On scans baby has always been very active (except the last growth scan where they must have been asleep), we couldn’t have the nuchal test from their somersaults (which I couldn’t feel at all).

anyone else’s baby either this active, or in a position where you can CONSTANTLY feel them? It’s reassuring to feel them, but how do you cope?

If it's unusual I'd definitely talk to your MW again OP.

@PritiPatelsMaker I don’t have a midwife so can only call the fetal assessment unit again. I’ve booked a private scan for today, but may end up calling them again. Like I said I only had the ctg yesterday and they passed that so baby isn’t in distress, but they just wouldn’t give me an answer, I spoke to the same woman in the afternoon who still just offered me a bunch of reasons but not able to pin it as I couldn’t get my growth scan moved. :(

so all I want to know is if people have ever experienced this in pregnancy! Anyone ever felt baby move… constantly? 😅

Yes my baby moves constantly. It's just assumed that this is my babies normal movements as it's been like this the whole time.

@rainbowplease ah okay! I just wasn’t sure if anyone else had a baby that never seems to sleep 😳😳 that’s good to hear.
I had a scan this morning and all okay, so from the latest tests they’re just very active, perhaps in and out of sleep.
making me very tired, though. 😴
