Pregnancy after loss

Hi All

I had a MMC last year & currently I’m 9 weeks pregnant.

My boobs have stopped hurting, my heart rate has dropped & I'm feeling really worried like it’s all happening again. I don’t have any ‘growing’ pains at all. My tummy isn’t hard. I still have food aversions but I feel like this could be due to long covid rather than pregnancy so that isn’t easing my mind either.

I had no symptoms last time to suggest I had lost the baby, I only found out due to a private scan and a ‘feeling’ that I’d lost the baby.

I have a scan on Wednesday but if I’m honest I’m totally terrified.

I probably sound all over the place - probably because I am but wondering if anyone else is feeling the same.

I am pregnant again after suffering a loss around 20 weeks. I didn't have a clue, so it was a big shock. This pregnancy has been really difficult because for a long time you don't really feel pregnant and might not have many symptoms, also you can't feel baby moving. I didn't begin to relax until well after 20 weeks when I started to feel regular movement. Even now I am still really anxious (26 weeks). It's really tough, I was only able to get through the early weeks by booking private scans in between. There's no answer really, you just have to try and ride it out, do what you can to look after yourself. It's normal for you to be feeling this way, symptoms can come and go as well. Chances are though, everything is fine x

Don't worry about heart rate dropping. It's just your body adjusting to the extra blood. I am pregnant after MMC. had lots of symptoms with MMC and this one. I've had 5 scans and all have been terrifying. It will take a while for that to leave you as you had such a bad experience it really embeds on your pysch. Rationality doesn't even enter into. It's awful now but it will get easier. You will convince yourself your symptoms are all gone and you're not pregnant but it is trauma causing that and you can't listen to it.

My heart rate dropped at 8 weeks in both mmc and current successful pregnancy. It means nothing. Stop checking your heart rate.
