Hi.
So due to recurring miscarriage and an ectopic my midwife ordered 2 lots of blood tests and an early scan.
Scan done 10 days ago didn’t show much, I was 5 weeks but she said all was on track.
Today I had another scan 6+3 day’s.
Before I went to my scan I called my midwife to check on my blood test results. The first one was very good 400,000 and today the 2nd one(so 2 day’s between them) was 65,000 she said that was quite a big drop and to prepare for bad news at my scan.
So my scan picked up a tiny baby with a very strong heart beat, not what i was expecting at all. The sonographer dated me at 6+2 and couldn’t believe what I had just told her about the drop.
So after a mega panic and a breakdown at work I really don’t know what to think.
My midwife has said to trust the scan more and she doesn’t want me to have any more bloods for now.
Has this happened to anyone?
I think there might have been a mix up in my results but who knows.
