Due date has changed- any experiences welcome!

We went for our dating scan yesterday. According to LMP and NHS I was 12+3 and due on 10/11/22. The baby was measured at 10+4 weeks (EDD 22/11) and I was told too small to do the NT screening and to come back in 14 days. I felt really deflated. The sonographer didn't seem worried at all, but I can't help but worry that the baby isn't growing properly. Has anyone else got any experience of this? We were hoping to tell people this weekend and now don't know whether to or not!

This happened to us too, LMP date for 12w3 had scan dated us at 10wks went back in 2 weeks and dated us at 11w6 days, original estimated due date from LMP was 31st Aug and now our due date is 17th Sept. Had our 20week scan on Friday and fingers crossed DS is happy and healthy in there! Hoping its the same for you and you just ovulated later and bean is growing nicely for you 💕

My experience is very similar- both of my pregnancies I have been put back by a week and had to go back in for the NT measurement. I must just ovulate later (despite thinking I knew when from ovu strips). I’m 16 weeks now and also have a healthy 3yo so it is pretty normal. Have felt cheated into an extra week of being pregnant both times though!

Thank you both for your reassurance! It's good to know it happens to other people too. Totally get what you mean feeling cheated into another week or two of pregnancy! Was hoping I was close to the end of morning sickness 🙈

I went for my 12 week scan and was asked “oh darling are you sure you have your dates right?”. Cue massive panic thinking there was something wrong with the baby. DD was born 20 days after initial due date and was 9lb 1oz…
