When can you tell the babys sex?

I cant remember if they can tell at the 12 weeks scan or if its the 20 week one. We did not want to know with DD so dont know when it is. We have decided we would like to find out this time.

20 weeks, I am pretty sure (12 weeks it is still almost impossible to tell from an ultrasound, I think)

yep definately ur 20wk scan i will be having mine in the morning and hope to find out the sex.

Thought that was the case. Now we have decided to find out I cant wait but guess I will have to.

12 weeks is too early to tell, but if you are having a nuchal scan at 13 or 14 weeks they will be able to tell at that point! I found out with both mine at the nuchal scan (private ones admitedly). If you are having just the 12 and 20 week scans then you'll have to wait till 20 weeks I'm afraid!
