Partial Molar Pregnancy

Hi ladies,

I hope you're enjoying the bank holiday weekend! I just am hoping for some shared experiences as I have found out at 11 weeks that I am having a partial molar pregnancy and the embryo is much smaller than it should be. I am having a d&c on Tuesday and I have been vomiting everyday for four weeks due to the high HCG due to the molar pregnancy so I am ready to move on.

This is our first pregnancy and was tried for for quite a while so we are very sad and now I'm reading online about the reality of molar pregnancies and have given myself massive anxiety on top of the sickness I already have. It seems testing my HCG levels for months will be part of it, plus not being able to try again for maybe six months? I wasn't told a huge amount at my appointment, it was mainly about the miscarriage and needing a d&c

Hi @chocolateaddict231,

I appreciate it's been a few months since you've experienced all of this, but I wanted to reach out as I too have had a partial molar pregnancy. It's been two months since we had everything removed and my bloods are still not back to normal. Have you had any luck? Hope you're okay and sending lots of love - it's a heartbreaking and frustrating thing to have to go through x
