MMC misoprostol advice

Hi everyone. I had 4 misoprostol vaginally this morning and I’ve had some light cramps and bleeding but nothing major. It’s been about 7hrs now, would you ring EPU to ask for another dose or just wait and see how it goes?

Anyone?

Hey, I had nothing really for 24 hours and was thinking it hadn’t worked. Midwife did say up to 3 days to me, but most likely in the first 24. I did pass the pregnancy the following day around lunchtime so about 36 hours after.

How is this going for you now? I took the tablets at 5pm and having bad stomach and uterine cramps but no bleeding.

I would sit and wait. Nothing really happened with me for the first few hours, then it really ramped up and I passed the pregnancy around 12 hours after having the misoprostol. Sorry you’re going through this .

It took a good 10 hours to kick in for me when I took mine, started slow and then fully kicked in early hours of the following morning

It kicked in pretty quick for me in the end. After 4 hours I was bleeding heavily. If possible try to stay home as much as you can though as I had really bad diarrhea from the cramps.

Sad that we have had to go through this, hoping everyone feels better ASAP xx
