Has anyone had metronidazole prescribed to treat BV in pregnancy?

Not in pregnancy and not for BV but whilst breastfeeding and for a tooth infection. Possibly the worst antibiotic I've ever encountered. It's safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding I read online.

Not in pregnancy but a few months post-pregnancy and for BV. I had the gel.

Yes I have had it prescribed when I was 8 weeks pregnant with BV. It is safe to take during pregnancy. If you haven't had to take it before, be warned, it is strong stuff and can make you feel a bit rubbish!
