12w scan in an hour and petrified after MMC

So as the title says really, I’m leaving my house for the hospital shortly for my 12w scan, I am absolutely petrified that I’ve had another missed miscarriage, I’m terrified of letting my partner down again. There’s no rhyme nor reason for this post other than an outlet for my anxiety so feel free to ignore it. Second pregnancy hoped first baby. Gosh! Let’s go!

💐I've been in the exact same position myself although a long time ago. I remember how nervous I was. Be emotional if you need to be (I was) and fingers crossed it will be okay this time.

Sending lots of love ❤️
I'm also pregnant with my rainbow baby after losing my son at 33 weeks last year and every scan has been terrifying!
Take a deep breath, the sonographer should have some understanding of your history, but if not just make them aware and they will make sure to reassure you throughout. Best of luck xx

Thank you so much and there’s a 1000% chance I’m gonna cry, happy or sad it’s happening!

Good luck @GeorgiaP88. I had my 12 week scan yesterday and had a mmc in November, so know the pain and anxiety all too well. I really hope you have some good news and start to feel reassured about this pregnancy ❤️

Snowflakes1122 · 28/04/2022 13:18

Good luck with the scan. Perfectly normal to feel like this after a loss, but try to relax and enjoy seeing baby.

yourestandingonmyneck · 28/04/2022 13:19

Best of luck XxX

Pregnantpolly · 28/04/2022 13:47

@GeorgiaP88 good luck. Fingers crossed for you.

You'll be there now. It's not you letting anyone down. How far along was the last one?

Carebear99 · 28/04/2022 15:22

How did it go? Well I hope x

GeorgiaP88 · 28/04/2022 15:53

Hi everyone I just got back! Thank you all for your comments and reassurance I was a nervous wreck! Good new this time got to see baby on screen head legs arms heartbeat the lot! Wasn’t behaving very well though so had to do some exercise on the bed 😂 it genuinely doesn’t feel real, measuring around 11+4 so about three days behind but said everything looks really well!

Cakecakecheese · 28/04/2022 18:54

I'm so glad everything is OK. I've had an MMC in the past so I know the terror of the 12 week scan and the relief when it's all fine.

Cruz86 · 28/04/2022 20:58

Yay congratulations @GeorgiaP88 🥰
